Thien Lam Pagoda temple, located in Thanh town, Tay Ninh province. It represents one of the earliest Buddhist architectures in Tay Ninh, being over 100 years old. Also considered the birthplace of Cao Dai, or Caodaist religion. It is one of the three most spiritual structures in Tay Ninh, along with the Tay Ninh Holy See and Ba Den Mountain.

The pagoda was built around 1904 with simple bamboo leaves. In 1925, Buddhist followers built a solid temple on a 20000 m campus; this area has been destroyed and has been narrowed down to more than 6000 m. It was restored in 1970 after being damaged after the war, but in 2022, the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Buddhists in Tay Ninh Province started a reconstruction.

All this paper lantern light my thoughts
Through the light of this paper lantern, will I learn more?
The white orchid suspended above the green ocean
Tranquilly and beauty.
It looks as if you need to throw
Buddha with a ball cup, as if performing a magic trick.

All this paper lantern light my thoughts
The whole thing is a group effort
With all of our thoughts, we will enter
Not a mountain but the best for the moment
High in the blue sky, watching the rice fields
A simple shrine
A place to show respect and leave gifts
Tranquilly and beauty.
