Aaron Huey, a USA born photographer, worked for the National Geographic. Involved in social activism and non-profit art project Amplifier Foundation, International Women’s March in 2017, We The People, extensive work documenting the poverty and issues of the Pine Ridge.
Documentary style is what draws me to most of the images for my painting, a story told through the image. In some cases this can be accomplished through with classic portraiture, but often occurs after the fact was not the original attention of the photograph.
