The end of the week, for two Amish boys, has arrived; no work for today. Maybe it’s a holiday, an adult baptism, but I will certainly be spending time at church. Nothing goes on without some religious fervour justification for the Anabaptist movement from 1525.
Now for simple living slowness to adopt modern technology, with a view neither not to replace face-to-face conversations and a view to be self-sufficiency. The Amish value manual labour and the humility and rural life.
