This reinterpretation by Tom Thompson, where the water in the sky were the same.

Thomas John “Tom” Thomson 1877-1917, Ontario Grew up near Owen Sound. He enjoyed drawing and painting, taken out of school for ill health. This gave him time to explore the woods and develop an appreciation of nature. Which you can see in his later paintings.

Seattle (1901–1904) hired as a pen artist, draftsman, and etcher. Produced business cards, brochures and posters, in three-colour printing. Use his own design ideas, which angered his boss. Later working freelance commercial designer, but there are no good examples of his work at this time.
