Sailboat
I went to see the exhibition by British painter J.M.W. Turner at the A.G.O. before starting this painting fo a boat, but do not see much influence in style but only in content.
What great adventures does this young child dream about with that boat in the water are they pirates on a ship, are they racing to win, or on a luxury cruise in the Mediterranean. It is extraordinary how a simple puddle and a piece of wood can excite the imagination.
