Impalement
We start at the anus between the bottom cheeks and climb gradually through the stomach and finally upwards through the esophagus, reaching the mouth. Then the stake is placed vertically upwards in the air as the body dangles lifelessly. Accreditation given to ‘Vlad The Impaler’ for the initial idea for the drawing.
This capital punishment was clearly intended to discourage people from performing whatever act they were punished for again, and leaving these bodies to rot in the sun only added to the effect.
