Ducking Stool, Not Much Of A Throne

I hope he doesn't drown.
The Ducking Stool, A Novel Torture Drawing Artist Chris Dale

Ducking Stool

It was also known as the Cucking Stool and was used to punish disorderly women and dishonest tradesmen in England, Scotland, and other places. The majority of this punishment was directed at women who were outspoken and perceived to challenge men’s status quo. Instead of confronting reality, the communities solved their problem. Scotland has a long record of witch hunting, of which this tradition is part, and kills more women than anybody in Europe at the time.
