Anorexia
An eating disorder defined by a low weight achieved through food restriction. They do not see themselves as fat, despite the measurable fact that, on a scale, it is clearly not true. The body image they desired is unattainable. This body is familiar to all women. This propaganda of beauty starts as a child, enforced through every form of advertising and by others who also believe in this body. Image that can never be obtained.
Oversimplification of the complexity of this disorder requires deeper study. It does illustrate somewhat brutally the idea of this unattainable body.
