Lovers in the dark are only accepted in the underground world of the outsiders; this image creates tension, a subject to be photographed because of its genuineness.
Following the war in Japan, like many places there was only one type of love it was gender-specific, so one must hide all their romantic feelings in the darkest corners of the underworld. Nobody was liberated from this form of tyranny. Wars were never undertaken over individual rights, but fore interest of corporate elite. Not about people, they’re about power and control of resources. This control is still waged towards the sexuality of individuals in the country, so their war never ends.
