Rented Canoe
The man is paddling, and the boy is sitting low in the bow of the canoe. The lake is quiet? Perhaps it is the man’s child or that of a friend. They are not in a hurry to get anywhere and appear to be quietly contemplating something different; there is no conversation. Will they have a wonderful adventure today aboard their little green canoe, or will they simply just flounder around until they get bored with their adventure?
