A traditional sea salt produced on the coastal area surrounding in Ninh Thuận province, Vietnam. Salt is harvested through sun-evaporation, involving the cleaning of fields, forming raised edges, and irrigating with seawater, taking 7–10 days. The sun to create high-quality, natural sea salt crystals. These Salt fields exist in the neighborhood right besides your house or across the street from a restaurant. There existence predate all other development in the area. There is a long tradition of rice production in this area so it is not surprising that everybody walks around them not through them.
