Nothing
You have crossed the end, there is little time, what thoughts just before. Maybe a smile of a great life or a profound fear of a death that you imagine. Balancing before the abyss, unable, as I say, no escape, the choice is no longer yours.
This painting came out of my original interest in painting Martha Gellhorn. In my research came across Robert Capa photography “Loyalist Militiaman at the Moment of Death”.
