Lipstick
This drawing was a response to the USA’s ability to live in a constant state of denial and their ability to believe their own veneer. A simple red paste over the lips for their citizens to believe in their righteous pursuits. Not even the effort to dig a hole as required to bury their head; just a tube of coloured wax is all that’s required. So shallow is their understanding of the world around them that it is their state of denial.
This thin lipstick veil of self-deception is provided by the entire media massaging into their bodies, with every rub repeating the same invisible story. Their heads rested soundly on a pillow of delusion.
