Fred Astaire
Painted in high school, but then stopped at boarding school and University. Started again after going back to University to finish up my degree, part of that was taking an art course. Was encouraged to start painting again. The instructor gave me some paper and some black and white paint. Morning in the attic before my daughter and wife woke up and painted. The fact that it was also black and white made the image much more appealing as for those of the only colors I have at the time and simplify the process of having to figure out what color gray is red.
