Self Portraits

Posing for a camera without a photographer.  This portrait is a solemn act of self-discovery.  Some photographers only take images of themselves.  But not necessarily the case with this participant. They take photos of other things besides themselves.  But have captured themselves at this moment in time, controlling all aspects. Cindy Sherman spends her whole career doing exactly this, placing herself as subject and also the photographer of that subject.
