Batman was a television series based on DC Comics of the same name. Batman and Robin, two heroes who defend Gotham City from a variety of arch villains. It was satirical and developed a camp style with upbeat theme music that mimicked bands of the time. The show included championing for seat belts, homework, eating vegetables, and drinking milk. There were 120 episodes on the ABC network from 1966 to 1968, and a feature film was released in 1966.
