Family Picnic
This painting is of me, my sister and mother from a picture taken by my father. It was a gift for my parents on their 50th anniversary. We are in Wilket Creek, a park in the city of Toronto where we picnic often as children. Being so close to the subject, it took a long time to paint and still do not know if I like the result.
