Shark Fin Soup
The body swings back and forth on gaff hooks, pulling the skin from its cage. Skin tears a little at the points of entry. There is a point made by this body dangling to enable the spectators to visually see. These hooks resemble the ones used to impale a swimming shark to incite outrage as well as start a conversation. Sharks are slaughtered only for their fin to make a soup for celebration. This is a graphic representation of this act, exhibited by the suspended body.
