Security Blanket
Wake up and reach for the only memory from her life, but a blanket has now become her security. Pulling the blanket up to her face, covering knees later over head, totally dependent on a blanket for her comfort. The soft blanket seems to transform into a necessary part of a child’s life. Not only to keep them warm at night to enable sleep, but also give them a sense of security, which they need to have as a way of feeling sheltered from the world.
