Pippi Longstocking
I have mysteriously remembered this character from my childhood. It was considered appropriate for children by my parents and a nice alternative to Disney movies. A strong nine-year-old girl who was fearless and had no clear guardians except for her father, who never seemed to be there, being a captain who lived on the sea like a pirate.

My knowledge of the mentioned character clearly emphasizes my age as I believe I might have been the first generation to see these movies
