Luff
The sailor watches the sail, waiting for it. When it is seen, it is time to change directions; this one no longer moves the boat forward; the ship must turn to find the wind on the other side to continue. Back and forth the boat will tack for one to head in the winds, one must change direction constantly in order to get to the exact geographical location precisely where the prevailing wind is blowing from.
