Francis Bacon
First saw their work in the Guggenheim. Remember one painting, it was a painting of a Sides of Beef, midway up the ramp. Its impression of colour made me feel cold. It still remained of that dray pink colour. No, on the way out of the gallery I bought the postcard of the work but misplaced it. No longer can find this image, it either is not there or my memory written at the time.
