Bayonets
A notion of simplicity, that somehow the contrast of the two objects has meaning. A romanticization about one’s own power in a situation where you clearly have none. Is used as a method to subvert any real attempt at power through a sickening romanticization of symbolism. Symbolic gestures have no real power unless they’re combined with a controlled political agenda behind them and reinforced as a thematic of that. Should not be confused with romanticized concepts of peace and love, which accomplished nothing under excuse for an action.
