The great-granddaughter of J. A. Folger, the Folger Coffee Company, Originally called Steam Coffee and Spice Mills, was founded in 1850 in San Francisco, California and was a Pioneer Steam Coffee and Spice Mills. The owner, William H. Bovee, saw an opportunity to roasted and ground coffee ready brewing Before that, To help build his mill hired J. A. Folger as a carpenter.

On August 8–9, 1969, Charles Denton, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Linda Kasabian all drove to the home of Sharon Tate and her husband, film director Roman Polanski. And murdered with a knife Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Abigail , Wojciech Frykowski, and Steven Parent.
