The great-granddaughter of J. A. Folger, the Folger Coffee Company, Originally called Steam Coffee and Spice Mills, was founded in 1850 in San Francisco, California and was a Pioneer Steam Coffee and Spice Mills. The owner, William H. Bovee, saw an opportunity to roasted and ground coffee ready brewing Before that, To help build his mill hired J. A. Folger as a carpenter.
