The photographer Chadwick Taylor took a series of images around America, its heartland dream. Dessert Spoon, the subject will never fill their emptiness with food. Unaware or unwilling to admit that it’s an illusion crated through movies and advertisements, deluding themselves of a sense of freedom, honour, and belonging. If you look from outside, there is no freedom; they are trapped in their own selves, repeating the same pattern, which is that revolutions are becoming shorter, almost appearing to be standing still.
