Pillar
The body is resting against is part of a society that does not support this young black boy. It represents many things, and the only assistance he will ever receive is the one he is currently receiving as a place to rest his back from the scorching sun. But they will not let him in because he will be kicked out of the cool corporation within. The gravity of this restriction will not be truly understood by this child for many years, but one day they will realize the severity of a simple color and not the hot weather.
